Windows 10 Cloud Is Another Strategy From Microsoft To Compete With Chrome OS

Chrome OS is well accepted by their target users and Microsoft still tries to capture the cloud-based operating system. They introduced Windows RT for the Surface but it still failed to bring a good traction for Microsoft.

In recent Windows 10 test builds, a Windows 10 Cloud started to appear. It is believed the operating system will be a simplified version of Windows and able to run universal apps from the Windows Store.

The cloud-based operating system is expecting to run on the ARM-based device and it will take advantage of other Microsoft cloud services like Office 365 and One Drive. I do not know what they are expecting from their upcoming cloud-based operating system since their service can also access from Chrome OS. Maybe they should focus on powering techie users who can developed apps or websites using the Windows 10 Cloud.
