Tesla snatches another Apple’s key person and, this time, it is Peter Bannon who help the company to develop ARM processors that are used in iPhone, iPhone and iPad. A few weeks before, Jim Keller joins Tesla as their new Vice President of Autopilot Engineering. Keller is also from Apple before he move to AMD in 2012 and later to Tesla. During their tenure in Apple, both people were responsible for leading the development of Apple A4 and A5 processors after their firm PA Semi bought by Apple in 2008. In 2012, Jim Keller moved to AMD, but Bannon still works for Apple and continue his job until he also took off to Tesla last week. The new hiring hints Tesla might want to develop their processor to support their spaceship and electric cars programs.
