Intel Lit Up Chromat On Fashion Runway

Chromat has collaborated with the Intel to come out with something special for their clothing. Chromat designer, Becca McCharen said they are open for any possibilities and eagerly want to explore more about the technology they showcased. Chromat uses Intel’s Curie Module to illuminate their dresses. Models were attached to StretchSense sensors. When the models squeeze their hands, the sensor will send a signal to the garment to light up. For Intel, it will help them to learn more efficient chip for the future. With more efficient chip but with the same power consumption, it can apply to other small devices and give reasonable power consumption.
