Google brings Chrome Music Lab on your browser in their latest experiment. The Chrome Music Lab allow you to play and have fun with Google’s simple flat design. Currently, there are twelve apps for you to try. There is no age limit for those who interested to have their hands on the Chrome Music Lab. The experiment they run is to demo the capabilities their Chrome web browser with Web Audio API, WebGL, Tone.JS, Pixi.JS and input from a microphone.
Music is for everyone. So this year for Music In Our Schools month, we wanted to make learning music a bit more accessible to everyone by using technology that’s open to everyone: the web. Chrome Music Lab is a collection of experiments that let anyone, at any age, explore how music works. They’re collaborations between musicians and coders, all built with the freely available Web Audio API. These experiments are just a start.
