Foxconn Acquire Right To Sell Nokia Brand Phone From Microsoft

After getting their hands on Sharp, Foxconn expanded their portfolio once more when they acquired Nokia feature phone division for $350 million. The acquisition entitled Foxconn, through their subsidiary FIH Mobile Limited and HMD Global ( a Finnish company), to sell new phones under Nokia brand and use some feature synonym to Nokia. HMD Global and Nokia Technologies will establish a collaboration framework which will help them to build new Nokia phones and tablets. Previously, Microsoft layoff number of workers from their mobile division after series of failure competing with other smartphone manufacturers.
