Apple Will Replace Your Macbook 12-Inch USB-C Cable for Free

Apple launched a replacement program for Macbook 12-inch due to faulty USB-C cable. The fault cause the Macbook not consistently charging or in same cases the Macbook is not charging at all. Apple will replace your Macbook 12-Inch USB-C cable for free.


You can visit Apple’s site to order a replacement cord. To check whether you are eligible or not, you can have a look at the cable itself. If the cable only states “Designed by Apple in California Assemble in China” then the cable is eligible for replacement. It is because the new cable has the serial number at the of the wordings. Apple will start sending the new cable by the end of February 2016.
