Apple Launches Mac Pro Repair Extension Program for Late 2013 Model

Apple launches Mac Pro repair extension program for their late 2013 Mac Pro model. The issue is due to the graphic card faulty. Those who owns a Mac Pro 2013 model and their Mac Pro shows the following problem are eligible to get free replacement parts:

  • Distorted or scrambled video on the external display
  • No video on the external display even though the computer is on
  • Computer freezes or restarts unexpectedly
  • Computer will not start up

Standard Mac Pro will have a one-year standard warranty. But with this extension program, the Mac Pro graphic card will be replaced with no charge at all, and it will take about 3 to 5 days to complete.


Mac Pro is the high-end computer use for heavy tasks. Most of the people who use it rely so much on the graphic card to render photo and videos. Previously, we reported a YouTube guy who broke his Mac Pro due to graphic card problem. Luckily for him, Apple Care replace it for free.
