Apple Discontinue Their Thunderbolt Display

Apple will no longer sell their Thunderbolt display, but people can still buy the display while the stock last in stores. The current Thunderbolt display has been in store for five years. Since then, there is no upgrade for the external display unit although Apple released their 5K iMac. For those who require a display unit for their Mac Pro or Mac Mini can choose a monitor with Thunderbolt support such as LG’s 34UM95-P.

We’re discontinuing the Apple Thunderbolt Display. It will be available through, Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers while supplies last. There are a number of great third-party options available for Mac users
