Apple celebrates Earth Day by changing all its Apple Store logo with a green Apple leaf and a signage saying the Apple Store is running on 100 percent renewable energy. The retail employees are also being provided with a green t-shirt. Although green is technically not an environmental friendly color, it helps to sell the idea. Other than logo and the new t-shirt for retail employees, Apple is also switching its plastic bags usage in their Apple Store to paper bags. Apple looks serious in implementing renewable and environment-friendly practices. It is a great effort from the tech giant, but some of the comment said Apple could help the environment by allowing their product to be upgraded by customers. The energy and resources use to produce new products can be reduced.
