Apple and Ericsson Will Join Develop High Speed 5G Phones

After Ericsson settled their licensing issues on 2G, 3G and 4G/LTE with Apple that cost Apple have to pay Ericsson for each iPhone and iPad, the Swedish company have announced they have signed a seven years deal with Apple. Apple and Ericsson will join develop super fast smartphones on the next generation (5G) technology. The deal will include cross license that covers patents owned by both companies in mobile technology. Ericsson said its deal with Apple means they will also develop video and other wireless technology which will benefits both parties.
